Custom Outreach Steps, Voice Call Improvements, and Smoother Multi-Shift Outreaches

We've got a packed update this week. A major rename across the app, a brand new Voice Calls page, and a bunch of multi-shift improvements we're excited to share. Let's get into it.

"Callouts" Are Now "Open Shifts"

You might notice things look a little different this week. We've renamed "Callout" to "Open Shift" across the entire app. Every button, label, nav item, and page title now says "Open Shift" instead of "Callout." This better matches how most scheduling teams actually talk about filling shifts, and should make things feel more intuitive for new users on your team.

No changes to how anything works, just clearer language everywhere.

Outreach Template Steps Are Now Fully Editable

You can now customize the full step sequence for your outreach templates. That means you can adjust the order of SMS, voice calls, and wait times for open shifts, clock reminders, and recurring shifts instead of being locked into the default flow. Head to Settings to set it up the way that works best for your team.

New Voice Calls Page

We've added a dedicated Voice Calls page to the app where you can view all outbound and inbound call logs in one place. You can filter, paginate, and click into full call details. No more hunting through individual outreaches to find a specific call.

The 5 most recent inbound calls also now appear on your home page feed, so you'll have immediate visibility into what's coming in.

Multi-Shift Outreach Improvements

A handful of upgrades to make multi-shift outreaches smoother:

  • Shift grouping in outreach creation - A new shift group editor lets you group related shifts together when creating outreaches and on the detail page. Way easier to organize complex multi-shift scenarios.
  • "Review Required" badge - When a multi-shift outreach needs coordinator follow-up, a visible badge now flags it so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Select same caregivers across all shifts - New toggle to apply the same caregiver selection across all shifts in a multi-shift outreach with one click.
